Faculty of Engineering welcomed professors from Nagaoka University of Technology
On October 10th, 2017 at 9.00 am, Dr. Thira Jearsiripongkul (Dean of Faculty of Engineering), Dr. Montalee Sasananan (Associate Dean for International Affairs and Sustainability), Dr. Warounsak Liamlaem (Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs), and Dr. Krisada Chaiyasarn welcomed Dr. Masato Aketagawa, Dr. Hitoshi Haga, and Dr.Takashi Yukawa from Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), who visited the Faculty of Engineering to discuss the progress on the double degree program, and to facilitate student engagement in industrial internship. Each year NUT sends 4-5 students to the Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University to participate in industrial internship and cultural exchange.
MOU signing ceremony between Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University, and National Institute of Technology (NIT), Japan
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University, and National Institute of Technology (NIT), Japan was held on October 10th, 2017 at the Faculty of Engineering. Dr. Thira Jearsiripongkul, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, convened the ceremony and gave the welcome address to Dr. Isao Taniguchi, President of NIT, Mr. Masayuki Takahashi, Senior Director of NIT, and Mr. Fumiaki Sawaura, Chief Planner of NIT. The ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Montalee Sasananan (Associate Dean for International Affairs and Sustainability), Dr. Nopadol Uchaipichat (Associate Dean for Research), Dr. Warounsak Liamlaem (Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs), and Dr. Krisada Chaiyasarn. Representatives from Nagaoka University of Technology were also presented as guests of honor: Dr. Masato Aketagawa, Dr. Hitoshi Haga, and Dr.Takashi Yukawa.
