Faculty of Engineering, Thammasat University organized a training workshop on "English in Professional Communication" on 22-26 August 2016 at KC Grande Resort & Spa, Koh Chang, Trat Province. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Austin Coffey, Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland, Ms. Shalini Srivastava, BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology, India, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Montalee Sasananan, Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Public Relations.

The objective of the workshop was to provide knowledge and training of English in professional usage to the staff members of the Faculty of Engineering. The workshop was held in response to the University’s policy which recognized the importance of enhancing employees’ skills in English language as reflected by its newly established “Thammasat University Standardized Test for English Professional Skills (TU-STEPS).
