On 19th January, 2016, the Faculty of Engineering presented a token of appreciation to Ms. Manusmriti Sharma, a lecturer from  BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology (BKBIET), for her contribution to English teaching to the students and staff of the Faculty. 
In Semester 1/ 2015, the Faculty offered English courses for the students and staff members with the purpose of improving their communication skills. The invited lecturers were: Dr. Radha Madhab Jha, and Ms. Manusmriti Sharma from  BK Birla Institute of Engineering and Technology (BKBIET). Besides teaching English, they also gave advise to the Faculty members on editing their research paper in English.
